Festive Season

Christmas is over and the new year is around the corner!
Have received many many gifts from colleagues, fellow colleagues, friends and loved one.
I like them all. As the saying goes "It's better to give than receive"! :)

Spent my Christmas yesterday at Yong & Jen's house for a potluck dinner with church friends.
Was supposed to make mango pudding but in the end couldn't get one of the ingredients in the recipe and thus have to drop the idea of making pudding. Instead, the "gei-kiang" me, bought konnyaku jelly powder and 1 can of longan and lychee each to try making the konnyaku jelly...
BUT....It was a FAILURE.. nobody likes it, i supposed? hahaha....Well well...Nvm, next time shan't make anything. Will buy something "readily-made"!!! haiz...
The dinner wasn't really a gathering for me as I myself did not really "come out" from my shell and open up... kept staying close to people I am closer to or in a corner. Don't know why.. Maybe I've drifted from them? Maybe I've got no common topics to talk about with them? I feel weird...

After dinner was the gift exchange session where we sat in a circle and pick the gift that we "think" that belong to us and started saying YES or NO whether the gift we bought for the person landed up on that person's hands... It was a long gift exchange.. Lasted for more than an hour.... Finally all settled down with our gifts. I got for yun and she, coincidentally is the one who got the gift for me too... :) She got me a white handbag... I like it a lot as I do not lack of anything though. I got her a desk cube calendar with verses cards on it from Tecman...
Reached home around 12.30am... Was dead-beat, went to wash up and off to bed...........................................

{Boxing day}
Did not step out today, just spent the day away by watching dvds after dvds....watched a total of 3 dvds! hehehe...

With all the feasting these few days, I guess this week I shall start my Workout at the gym!! ho ho ho...
